All well-behaved pets are welcome to this fun worship service. We’ve had dogs (lots of dogs!), hamsters, rabbits, parrots, a hedgehog, bearded dragon, and a couple of cats (being the non-social creatures that they are). Animals should be on a leash or crated and brought out at the time of blessing. During the services you will be invited to bring your pet forward for a blessing by the pastor. We hope you and your pets will enjoy this service.

Those attendees wishing to separate themselves from the animals in the sanctuary, are welcome to take the stairs or the elevator up to the balcony - which will the “pet-free zone.” Ask an usher for assistance.

Why blessing of the animals? It’s annual service held around the world, a custom originating in the 13th century, attributed to St. Francis of Assisi, who held a great sense of care and respect for every creature.
