Meet Nick Davenport, our Director of Family Ministries. Nick has a passion for youth ministry and an extensive background of youth ministry in the area since 2006. Nick has experience in various denominations and para-church organizations, most recently with Young Life. Overall, Nick just wants young people to know that God loves them and made them on purpose and wants to instill a passion in other like-minded adults to walk alongside young people as we all walk towards Jesus together. Nick has a passion for working alongside other organizations and churches so we can lean on one another's skills and assets to bring the best for our students. Nick's favorite ministry experience ever was leading work crews of 45 high school students up at Young Life's Malibu Camp in Canada for a month each Summer and helping them fall in love with Jesus, learn to read Scripture and thrive in Christian community.

Nick attended seminary at Seattle Pacific University and graduated in 2015 while working at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shoreline.

Nick lives in downtown Edmonds with his toothless cat, Gandalf. If he wasn't working in ministry he'd like to be a downtown Edmonds tour guide. Nick loves board games, wine tasting, cozy vibes, great conversation and his favorite season is Autumn. Nick has spent time as a wine server at Vinbero, worked as a barista, fundraised money for scholarships and had a lot of jobs in youth ministry over the years and he's so excited to be here at EUMC to invest in the children, youth and family in Edmonds.
