Chancel Choir

The Chancel Choir sings in worship usually on the first and third Sunday of each month, as well as for most festival services. This group is open to anyone high school age or older and welcomes singers with all different levels of skill and experience. We do a wide variety of repertoire that is mostly centered around modern sacred choral anthems, and rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 7:00 to 9:00 pm beginning in September and taking a break for the summer in early June.

Chapel Bell Choir

Chapel Bells are a group of dedicated ringers that provide music in Sunday morning worship about once a month, as well as for some of our festival services. The group is open to musicians high school age or older and welcomes anyone who is interested in learning more about bells and in being a part of an instrumental ensemble. Repertoire includes music by prominent composers and arrangers of handbell music, and rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

Chamber Choirs

Our Chamber Choirs are comprised of a rotation of singers looking for more regular singing commitments, beyond what Chancel Choir provides. They typically sing on the fourth and fifth Sunday of each month, meeting to rehearse on Sunday mornings just before worship. The ensembles sing a wide variety of choral and vocal chamber music, and are typically one to two singers on a part. Participants are required to do some individual preparation prior to Sunday morning and come with the music learned ahead of time.

Edmonds Music Collective

The Edmonds Music Collective is a rotating group of singers and instrumentalists who provide music in worship, typically on the second Sunday of each month. Instrumentation is usually some configuration of a band, and the music usually falls into genre categories like folk, gospel, alternative, or country. The goal is to provide a “contemporary” contribution to our music at EUMC that fits our congregation and space.
