Walk Across Palestine

Sunday, September 29, 11:45 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Michael Clifford and Penelope Guntermann, both retired Lutheran clergy, will share their experiences walking along the 190-mile Abraham Path, that stretches through the West Bank in the Palestinian Occupied Territories. They visited with local people and stayed, as guests, in the homes of Palestinians. This is an “Eye Opening” experience for any traveler.

Lloyd Johnson, a retired surgeon, and author, will also share two interviews with Palestinians he met while visiting and living in Bethlehem.

The Palestine Israel Network of Edmonds/Lynnwood, part of EUMC’s Advocates for Justice team, is offering this enlightening presentation after the second service downstairs in the Aldersgate Room. Snacks will be available. Questions? Contact Hank Landau, Dick Gibson, or Cheryl Hay.
