    Edmonds UMC is a beautiful space to hold your wedding. Light pours through a wall of stained glass windows bringing views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains into our Sanctuary, while our Chapel offers a meditative space for intimate ceremonies.

  • Memorials & Funerals

    The loss of a loved one can be a very painful and confusing time. The Edmonds United Methodist Church Staff will do all we can to assist you during this difficult time.

  • Birthdays & Celebrations

    From birthday parties to class reunions to anniversary celebrations, we welcome diverse events of various sizes. 

  • Non-Profit Events

    Non-profit groups and non-partisan political groups are welcome to use our space.  We are equipped to offer space from workshops to forums. Please inquire with the church office about non-profit rates.

Rental Policies

Room Rental Policy

Party Planning Information: guest groups, please plan appropriately for your function. Keep in mind the nature of your function, the number of guests/participants expected and any additional guests/participants that may attend. Please be aware that if party guidelines are not followed, individuals or groups may lose future reservation privileges.

  • Church groups and events have first priority for room reservations, so please plan your event as early as possible to avoid disappointments.
  • No gambling activities are permitted on the church grounds. This includes raffles, bingogames, or any games of “chance”. Silent auctions, or door prizes included with admission tickets are permitted.
  • Selling for individual/corporate profit is prohibited. Selling or fundraising which benefits a nonprofi group or individual is permitted. (example: proceeds which benefit Habitat for Humanity or medical care for a person with leukemia).t
  • No alcohol is permitted on the church grounds, including parking lots and playfield.
  • Smoking is prohibited inside the church at any time, and within 25 feet of any doors outside, in accordance with state law. Please make use of provided outdoor ashtrays, and please remove cigarette debris after your event.
  • No animals are permitted in the church building, except for assistance animals.
  • No explosives, fireworks, or firearms are permitted on the church property.
  • Please provide your own dishes and silverware. You may use church coffee maker, and kitchen facilities to heat food.
  • Please be cleaned up and out of the church by 9:00 pm.

Rental Cleaning Policy

  • Groups and individual users are responsible for all cleaning up after themselves. Cleaning includes: wiping tables free of spills; and picking up garbage, and returning room to original configuration.
  • Kitchen users, please wipe down all surfaces used. The stove and microwave may only be used to heat food for scheduled events. Please double check that all appliances are turned off immediately after use.
  • Furniture may not be moved between rooms, except by prior arrangement.
  • Damage to a room and/or contents will result in repair charges that will be billed to the group or individual user.
  • Please pick up any trash or debris from the parking lot.
  • Please use appropriate care and caution during your event. The church cannot be held liable for injury resulting from setup, attendance of, or cleanup of your event.
