Godly Play: A Child Sized Worship Center Offered at 9:00 & 10:30a.m.

Godly Play, a Montessori based curriculum of spiritual practice offered at 9:00 & 10:30a.m. each Sunday invites children to wonder about God’s stories told through three dimensional objects. At 9:00a.m., we welcome children (age 3)—6th grade. At 10:30a.m., we welcome kids in Kindergarten—2nd grade. Location: Room 120

Offered at 10:30a.m. service A Mennonite curriculum calling children to:
  • Experience the transforming power of God’s love
  • Cultivate an inner life through spiritual practices
  • Express faith through peacemaking and service
  • Learn to navigate and read the Bible
Preschoolers (ages 3-PreK) meet in Room 214. 3rd-4th Graders meet downstairs in the Asbury Room. 5th-8th Graders meet downstairs in the Youth Hall.
Tae Kwon Do

Tae Kwon Do

Saturday Mornings | 10:30-11:30 a.m.

This fun and safe family oriented class welcomes adults, families and children 2nd grade and up. Kindergarteners' through 1st graders welcome with parent participation. Learn the basics of Tae Kwon Do and self-defense techniques from 2nd degree Black Belt Ken Abrams. Suggested donation of $25 per person / per month. Questions? 5th and 6th Graders are invited for an evening of fun. Join us for a great outing!!

Children's Choir

Our children sing or play instruments for the first 10-20 minutes of Sunday School during the 10:30a.m. hour. If your child is interested in participating, you don't need to sign up, just come.

Sunday School Nursery Care

The church nursery is open from 8:45a.m. to 11:45a.m. every Sunday, welcoming infants and toddlers.

Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS)

Moms of children newborn to kindergarten, please join our MOPS group for brunch, fellowship & speakers! Childcare is provided. Vacation Bible School July 16-20

The Power of Inclusion: Discovering New Lands Join Jonah on his journey to Ninevah for adventure, surprises, and a lesson on loving! We'll explore Jonah's story through science, drama, games, crafts, justice, and music.

  • $75. Scholarships are available.
  • Preschoolers age 3+ to incoming 6th graders.

Family Camp: June 22 - 24

Bring your family, your friends, and come to the beach at Camp Indianola, June 22-24. Enjoy the giant swing, boating, beachcombing, campfires, and devotions for men and then for women. Registration will open in mid-March.

Safe Church Policy

EUMC's safe-church policy states: No fewer than two adults (unrelated to one another) will be present at all times during any church-sponsored program, event, or ministry involving Children, Youth & Vulnerable Adults (CYVA), including overnight trips, off premises activities or group gatherings. With this ratio of adults to Youth: 5th-8th grades -2 adults for 1st 14 youth (1 for every next 7) and Youth 9th-12th grades - 2 adults for 1st 16 youth (1 for every next 8). And with parental permission, two adults are required to be present when traveling with youth in a car or van.
